Escrima Classes : Sundays 10 am to 12 noon.

"Escrima" (also known as Arnis and Kali) is the Martial Art of the Philippines. It is a weapons based fighting form that emphasizes power, flow, and efficiency. Our Escrima Classes are designed to teach the student and effective form of self defense in a short amount of time. We place self defense skill and ability above all else. That is why we are here.

More than Escrima...

The Stockton Escrima Club is a project created for personal growth and exploration as well as a place to remember and honor our instructors. We teach ideas, concepts, and techniques passed to us from Escrima Grandmaster Leo M. Giron as well as many other noteable Escrima practicioners. Thanks to generous contributions from my father Glenn C. Abrescy Sr. (Kemscrima Doh) and longtime friend Sensei Eric Shingu (Karate/Brazilian Jiu Jitsu), we offer techniques and insights from their arts.
